Following a huge sellout 2010 show, Europe’s biggest and boldest bass and soundsystem culture festival Outlook returns to Croatia for 2011. On December 18th, to celebrate the success of the 2010 event, for one night only, Outlook will take over London’s Coronet Theatre to bring you a roof-raising reunion all nighter like no other!

With a huge line up spanning 4 rooms offering the best in cutting edge drum and bass, dubstep, jungle, reggae and more; banish those winter blues, look back at fun filled summer memories and get involved as Outlook brings the bass to London for one amazing night only.

Brace yourself as Outlook has invited back some of the best acts from 2010 for your rib rattling pleasure. Amongst those already confirmed for the Christmas bash are Brixton’s Jamm residents Congo Natty aka Rebel MC feat. Demolition Man, Danny Freddy and Tenor Fly, DMZ dubstep heavy weights Mala and Digital Mystiks feat. Sgt Pokes and Loefah, Leeds Sub Dub’s Iration Steppas, the amazing Gentleman’s Dub Club (live) and with over 30 acts soon to be announced, watch this space as this is one reunion you wont want to miss.

Now in its forth year, Outlook took place in the breath taking Punta Christo, Croatia in an abandoned fort. Having sold out for the past three years to rave reviews, September 2011 will see 8,000 bass lovers flock to Punta Christo’s sun soaked shores for four days of day time beach parties, boat parties and all night raving.

With an amazing line up, boat parties, a stunning beach, 4 outdoor arenas and sun, Outlook raised the bar and earned its reputation as one the best bass festivals in the world.

Button Eye is a music and art promotion company that is looking to showcase emerging talent in the Portsmouth area. We aim to be creative, unique, artistic and promote emerging talent. We want to establish a vibrant, passionate and progressive community of talented musicians and artists that can bring more pride and energy to Portsmouth.

Currently showcasing local talent at venues Garbo’s Hair Salon, The Fat Fox and The Kraken Wakes, Button Eye are looking for artists from all genres…

Painter, sculpture, illustrator, photographer, graphic designer, film maker, etc) or musician (band, singer, singer song writer, rapper, dj, acoustic, alternative, jazz, folk, indie, rock, rap, electro, folk, techno, hip-hop,classical, blues, jazz, country, metal, reggae, ska etc.)

Artist should send an email titled “ART” with THREE images of YOUR OWN work and FIVE words that describe YOUR WORK.

Musicians should send an email titled “MUSIC” with THREE OF YOUR OWN songs or a MySpace or weblink with THREE OF YOUR OWN songs by you and FIVE words to describe your work.

After a successful one off night at the Edge of The Wedge, Miss Cufuffle Presents has been asked back again. As before you are invited to a free night in the company of local well known and not so well known talent. All in the name of having a giggle and a lot of fun. Expect an eclectic electronic mix of music styles, covering Nu-Funk, French House, Disco, Swing, Electro, Samba, Salsa, Jazz, Big Beat and everything else in between that’s a little bit different! Including this time a little bit of Jungle.

Science & Miss Cufuffle Presents are extremely proud to announce details of their joint New Years Eve Extravaganza, with both parties bringing their renowned production values and musical pedigree to Southsea’s hidden jewel The Loft for a night of underground splendor as we groove our way into 2011…

Sparking the fuse across two rooms are 13 djs, each with their own unique brand of sonic trickery to enhance your evening. Comprised of some fresh faces, and our well established residents, upstairs will see Science celebrate what has been a fantastic year, with Rich Jones, Junior Gee, Stu Bryan, Kelly Wainwright, Josh Dunleavy, Laurence Reed and Rich Archaic all exploring the deepest underground regions of house and techno, with plenty of sound system shredding bass, shuffling rythmns, colourful textures and a dash of nostalgia to boot. Downstairs see’s Miss Cufuffle Presents bringing their unique carnival sounds of jungle, jazz, disco, electro, breakbeat, funk, salsa and french house to the evenings proceedings, with appearances from Vortechral, Simon Heartfield, Mayzee, Flymic, Mike Cubist and Fingerman who will all be adding a different and delicious ingredient to Science’s usual sonic flavor.

We will of course as usual be transforming the whole venue into the perfect intimate tripped out rave box for your NYE hedonism, with pumping sound, extra neon and some unique midnight projections to create the perfect party environment.
